  • Full self-funded fee (from 31 July): £225 + VAT
  • Full organisationally-funded fee (any time): £450 + VAT
  • Selection of any 5 seminars:
    £125 + VAT
  • Single seminars: £33 + VAT
BOOKING CONDITIONS
Regrettably, refunds cannot be given in any circumstances unless you cancel in writing to info@confer.uk.com 6 weeks before the first date of the event you have booked, in which case you will be entitled to a 50% refund. This does not apply to parts of an event, such as a seminar within a programme, but only to a whole event or complete series. If you need to cancel at the last minute, you may give your place to another person if you let us know that person’s name at least 24 hours before the event begins.

We reserve the right to change a speaker at one of our conferences. However, if a solo presenter cancels we will offer a refund or transfer.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

This seminar series will introduce approaches and discuss the function of assessment as a skill in the psychotherapeutic repertoire, examining the history of diagnosis, assessment protocols, and the view of mental health implied by various assessment techniques. The series will include:
  • An exploration of the diagnostic manuals and the function of diagnosis
  • A comparison between psychiatric, psychological and psychotherapeutic approaches to assessment
  • A critique of assessment and diagnostic tools as a process
  • A review of a range of assessment approaches
  • Consideration of the impact of the assessor in the process
